Nothing exists in limbo; everything needs context.

For locations, context meant ‘within X miles’ of other locations.

Until now. iGeolise think minutes mean more than miles.

CROWS VS HUMANS

Crows fly in straight lines – hence ‘as the crow flies’ (though apparently bees fly straighter).
But humans walk, cycle, drive or use buses and trains. We follow paths, cycle tracks, roads and rails.
5 miles might be quick by train but slow by foot. Fast at 23.00 or slow at 08.00. Fast if there’s a bridge or slow if there isn’t.
So using distance to find locations isn’t very helpful. Not to humans. But travel time is.
We’re travel time experts.

iGEOLISE LABS

test_tube_graphic

We were a start-up once. We were lucky, a lot of people helped us. And it may sound corny but we’d like to give something back. So if you’re a start-up and need a little short-term office space in London, or maybe intros to some experts and resources, or perhaps just to bounce some ideas around – call us. We can’t promise to help, but we do promise to try. Who knows, maybe you won’t have to make the same mistakes we did.

                                              OUR HISTORY

flux_capacator_graphic

Apparently, tech businesses usually start in lofts or garages in Silicon Valley. We didn’t. Charlie and Peter started iGeolise in a loft above a garage in Surrey. Internet was a CAT5 cable strung over from a neighbouring house.

Vision is a big word for just 6 letters – but ours is to replace every ‘within X miles’ (or kilometres) search box with travel time. Globally.

Clearly we’ve got a long way to go – but we’ve already built some amazing technology, won some blue-chip customers, launched in several countries, and gathered lots of proof about how travel time boosts our client’s conversion rates.
